The camera angles can show a lot as if it is a lot of close up of people’s emotions it is more likely to be related to the genre of horror if it is showing lots of close-ups of the persons face with scared emotions.

The camera movement can also show quick fast bursts which would be showing the action in the film whereas slow movement camera speeds may show romantic sections of the film. This will show the genre and could be a good insight into what the movie is going to be about.

Sound is an important factor when analysing a teaser trailer and this is because it can build up an idea of what the genre is going to be because it can be a low beat and a slow pace which could symbolise a horror film or it could be something like a toy story tune which is a lot more upbeat and quick.

Editing is an important factor as the editing can make a large difference to how people react to certain parts of the teaser. If there are fast paced bursts between each shot it will show how the film is going to be similar to this in the theme of action and the opposite of this may be if the shots fade out at the end then it shows that it is more likely to be like that throughout the whole film.

The narrative or hints of narrative may be that it is going to have small hints throughout the teaser and this may mean that it is more likely to be popular if there are only small hints because it won’t give away the plot of the film.

The titles and references may be important because the title can tell another story as if it is a big bold title then it is more likely to be noticed and related to other films rather than a title which has not been seen before and may not be referenced back to any other films. The references may be to company logos and you can work out a lot from this as you will be able to figure out the genre which this company mainly focuses around.

The character representations may also show the certain type of people which are represented as you can connect certain actors to specific genres and this shows a definite factor about how to figure out what the film is going to be about.
